Message from the Editor
The Bible is God's Word. Why is it then that Bible study can be
difficult, frustrating, and if done wrong, boring? In Bible Study
Magazine, we tackle the difficult passages and take the frustration out
of Bible study with how-to guides, tips and tricks. Our stories about
off-the-beaten-path Bible study will inspire you to not just read God's
Word more, but to study it. With advice and encouragement from top
pastors, teachers and scholars, you will be equipped to study the Bible
and answer the questions of your friends.
Bible Study Magazine's colorful graphics and in-depth articles are
getting high praise. Library Journal, the premier magazine for
librarians, named Bible Study Magazine one of the top 10 magazines
launched in 2008. Steve Black, who wrote the article and reviews
countless periodicals a year, said Bible Study Magazine is "a serious,
clearly written [publication] that uses biblical scholarship to
illuminate but not refute the principal beliefs of evangelical
Protestantism. . . . [It] is to Bible studies what Scientific American
is to science or Psychology Today to psychology. A thoughtful bridge
between the work of scholars and laypersons looking for a deeper
understanding of the biblical texts."
The Bible is an access point to God. Everyone should study it and be
transformed by it. For that reason, we have made it easier for you to
share Bible study with others by offering reduced prices on our bulk
packs. You can even use our ongoing study, "Facing Today with the Book
of Hebrews," as a way for you and others to go in-depth together. Don't
miss an issue, subscribe now!

Statement of Faith
We believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth. We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended to the dead and on the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven, is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.
